Waikato Times review:"Nelson, big up your chest! This 12 track compilation features numerous artists from the top o' the south, and it's a fairly diverse selection of tunes. Tossed in among the straight rap cuts are some funky breaks and a couple of stripped-back downtempo numbers. SAKURA, the only instrumental, is among the best of the tunes, and although the rapping from the likes of Kurnel MC and MC Stylee gets a little tiring and the MCs a touch overexposed, some nicely produced breaks and rhythms make up for that. Worth a look for committed bassheads fond of the local product, and full marks to the Master Pilot collective involved for getting out there and pushing their tunes into the crowded market!!!
