Wendy Ealey's solo album Out Of the Shower was recorded at Spring Studios with Harry Williamson and friends. It has a strongly vocal orientation, rich harmonies, pithy lyrics, from full arrangements to the essence of simplicity.

Wendy's varied career includes singing in folk clubs in the seventies, stand up comedy in sunny Brixton (UK) in the eighties, co-writing, arranging and performing the sound track of two award winning documentaries, co-writing and performing corporate comedy and appearing in the occasional dramatic piece - being a bit of a dramatic piece herself.

Harry Williamson features on several tracks playing bass, electric guitar, accoustic 12, piano and keyboards, as does Peter Vadiveloo who plays drums. Wendy is joined by Mary Caruana, Brent Parlane, Belle Carauna-Gordon and Wendy's 83 year old mother on the epic penultimate track 'Bigger Than This'

The music is rousing, uplifting, poignant, enraging, funny, stark - and superbly sung. Wendy 'maintains the rage', and the sorrow, and the humour of what happens while you're busy making other plans...
