Released in 2010, this variation on the traditional theme of the "jingle" or loose rings bobbin is made in Gabon ebony with a central section of the highly decorative rare wood snakewood. The loose rings are all turned from the same piece of solid ebony that the bobbin is made from. Spangles for this bobbin are in semi-precious stone (haematite).
This bobbin, new in 2010, is made from a very hard Australian wood, Belah, one of the casuarina family. It features a striped inlay made from alternating bands of sycamore and macassar ebony, offset by inlays off red dymondwood. This bobbin will only be made in limited quantities. In stock now.
