Our philosophy is simple - to provide recording sales, publicity, Internet pages and website design for independent artists, at an affordable cost. Our service isn't free, because we do a lot more for our members than other online music sales sites, and we want to keep our service commercially viable as it grows. This site is run by a musician for the benefit of other musicians, and we do it because we have a strong commitment to independent music.

An exceptional value internet retailing package with affordable set up charges - The deal includes:

• An entry in our web catalogue and our Amazon.co.uk web shop for each of your CDs, DVDs, or CDROMs, with links to your own online audio samples (one or two Real Audio and five MP3 per CD). If you do not have online music samples we can link to we will provide one Real Audio sample of about 90 seconds
• Wholesale distribution - unless you choose not to be included, your items will also appear in our wholesale internet catalogue for distribution to any retailer. We sell to bona fide trade customers only at these lower rates. We will sell CDs globally - our wholesale operation is not limited to one or two countries.
• A despatch and credit card payment handling service for Internet and mail orders, that you can also use to enable your own website for e-commerce
• Great value - we pay you for achieved sales, and we take a percentage via our commission structure.
• A selected track may be included in our sampler CDs, sent to many radio stations periodically
• Your music may be played on our podcast programmes and live to air Australian radio broadcasts (free)
• you can opt to be included in our other promotions

Our retail and wholesale catalogue is divided into two main sections - one for independent artists, and we focus especially on world music, jazz, acoustic and roots, avant garde jazz and electroacoustic, prog rock, traditional folk and celtic, plus a section of electronica. However we're open to any style - the emphasis is on quality. We also have an independent labels section - if you represent a label please click on the labels tab above. Our Amazon site does not have a separate category for bands and labels - all go in the same catalogue on Amazon.

How do I sell my CD, DVD, CDROM, etc on this website?

1 - read this quick intro, and then review the information on pricing and sending CDs first. You may have more questions at this point - but please look in the comprehensive FAQ section (tab on menu above) BEFORE contacting us with any queries -we've tried to make these comprehensive so you should not need to ask us any more questions

2 - but any questions you may have after that use our contact form to ask us....

3 - then fill in our signup form and tell us about your music, and your band/label etc, and send us two sample copies of each title you want to sell (please do NOT send us music file attachments by email).

4 - we'll assess your music, then negotiate pricing and stock levels and quantities of promotional copies with you

5 - after we agree to distribute, you send us stock after reading our notes on packing (and customs if overseas) At that point we ask you to pay the site sign up-fee. Click on the sign up tab above to register with us online.

6 - we pay you for sales at least once every 3 months, or in any month we've sold a total of 10 copies of your items. Click on the pricing tab above for our commission rates and payments arrangements.
