Full information for new customers is below, please read it before making your first order. Existing account holders can make an order on account simply by using the ADD TO CART buttons in our new cart system. These are located on the DETAILS page for each item. New trade customers can order with a credit card using our shopping cart (in which case you need to provide the following details in the order form comments box - your ABN, your registered business address, name of person making the order).
Hints on using our cart - click on the cart button in the top menu to check the contents of your cart. You an alter contents by changing the number and clicking on RECALCULATE in the cart. Setting the quantity to zero removes items from the cart. More help on the cart is in our help menu option above.
Two quick ways to find things on or site:
Search catalogues - look for artists, CD titles, keywords on our review pages, using the site search option.
Browse catalogues - look through our genre categories for the style of music you want in the catalogues menu.
We accept orders from all customers including new ones for immediate delivery if you opt to pay by credit card or Paypal. Bona Fide trade customers can order by credit card using our wholesale order form at any time without needing to set up a trade account with us. To be eligible for wholesale terms you must be a registered retail business with an ABN or ACN and a valid registered business name, and we require these details with order. If using our shopping cart enter your ABN and business name in the comments window.
If you cannot pay via credit card or Paypal, our terms for non-account holders are: Orders must be paid for with order - you can post orders to us with a cheque made payable to "INDIE-CDS.COM". After the cheque has cleared at our bank we will send the goods.
Apply for an account
Use our secure message board (link in top menu) to apply for an account. You will need to provide your trading name, business address, working email address, phone number, ABN if in Australia, and the name of the person making the order. Our terms are - the first order has to be paid for with order. After that we may agree to give you credit terms, with payment being strictly within SEVEN days of invoice date, invoices are usually issued monthly. We will allocate an account number and after that you will be able to order goods from us on account via our internet shopping cart, and selecting the ACCOUNT payment option with the cart as your payment method.
Currently indie-cds.com, is not registered for GST on domestic sales. Export transactions are always GST free in any case.
Pricing and availability
In our wholesale catalogue you will see the retail price we sell at, the wholesale price, and whether the item is in stock. There are two pages of information for each item - a short summary, and a review page with full detail and track list (and a sound clip for most CDs/cassettes). The bottom line of the detail page shows the maximum quantity of an item that we usually can ship from stock. If you need more than this contact us for availability info.
Items shown as out of stock but available to order can be ordered but there will be a delay while suppliers ship stock to us.
In some cases we may be able to negotiate a better price than advertised for multiple copies of certain titles. If you want ten copies or more of a title please contact us.
Postage and Packing
Our wholesale shopping cart buttons add your item to the cart and then applicable postage is calculated by the shopping cart. You can opt for Express Post within Australia.
